Foxboro P0400YD FBM03 RTD Input Module

The Foxboro P0400YD, designated as the FBM03, is an 8-channel Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) input interface module for the I/A Series Distributed Control System (DCS). It is specifically designed to accept Platinum and Nickel RTD sensors, performing the signal conversion required to interface the electrical resistance signals from field RTDs to the redundant Fieldbus. Each channel supports 2-, 3-, or 4-wire RTD configurations within a 0 to 320 ohm resistance range. The FBM03 executes an Analog Input application program with configurable options for Analog Input Resolution, Fieldbus Switching Enable, and Fieldbus Switching Time. As a main-type FBM, it independently connects to the redundant Fieldbus, ensuring continuous communication even if one Fieldbus path fails .
