The Foxboro FBM202, part number P0926EQ, is an 8-channel isolated Thermocouple/mV Input Interface Module for the I/A Series and EcoStruxure Foxboro Distributed Control Systems. It contains eight thermocouple input channels and one isolated RTD reference junction compensation channel for terminal temperature sensing. Each thermocouple/mV channel accepts standard thermocouples for various temperature ranges and provides thermocouple burnout detection (upscale) . The module performs the signal conversion required to interface electrical input signals from thermocouples to the redundant 2 Mbps Fieldbus. As a main-type FBM, it independently connects to the redundant Fieldbus, ensuring continued communication even if one Fieldbus path fails.
