P0400YG FBM06 Foxboro

The Foxboro P0400YG, designated as the FBM06, is a mixed-signal interface module for the I/A Series Distributed Control System (DCS). It combines four configurable pulse input channels and four 0–20 mA DC analog output channels on a single Fieldbus Module, enabling precise measurement of flow, speed, and totalization while simultaneously driving analog actuators and positioners . The module accepts pulse inputs from vortex and turbine meters, solid-state or electro-mechanical contacts, and other sensors with similar pulse outputs. Each output channel drives an external load with a 0–20 mA signal, performing the signal conversion required to interface field sensors and actuators to the redundant Fieldbus . As a main-type FBM, it independently connects to the redundant Fieldbus, ensuring continued operation even if one communication path fails.
