P0400YE FBM04 Interface Module

The Foxboro P0400YE, designated as the FBM04, is a mixed analog Input/Output interface module for the I/A Series Distributed Control System (DCS). It combines four 0-20 mA DC analog input channels and four 0-20 mA DC analog output channels on a single Fieldbus Module, enabling simultaneous process measurement and final control element actuation from one rack slot. Each input channel accepts analog sensor signals from 4-20 mA transmitters or self-powered 20 mA sources. Each output channel drives an external load with a 0-20 mA signal, performing the signal conversion required to interface field sensors and actuators to the redundant Fieldbus. As a main-type FBM, it independently connects to the redundant Fieldbus, ensuring continued operation even if one communication path fails.
