The GE IS200SPIDG1A is a PROFIBUS Master Gateway Terminal Board (SPID) designed for the Mark VIe Speedtronic turbine control system. It serves as the physical interface layer between the Mark VIe controller and field-level PROFIBUS-DP networks, enabling communication with remote I/O packs, variable frequency drives, excitation controllers, and third-party protection relays. This board is a passive termination and signal conditioning module that works exclusively in conjunction with the IS220PPRFH PROFIBUS Master Gateway I/O Pack. It does not perform PROFIBUS master processing itself; instead, it routes, filters, and isolates the PROFIBUS signals between the field network and the PPRFH processing pack.
