IC695PNS001 PACSystems RX3i PROFINET Scanner Module

The GE Fanuc Emerson IC695PNS001 is a PROFINET Scanner Module for the PACSystems RX3i programmable automation controller platform. It connects a remote universal RX3i I/O rack containing Series 90-30 or RX3i modules to a PROFINET I/O Controller, scanning the modules in its rack to retrieve input data and provide output data across the PROFINET I/O LAN at the configured production rate . The module functions as the head-end unit responsible for monitoring and controlling the I/O modules installed in its RX3i I/O rack. All PROFINET communications pass between the PROFINET I/O Controller and the PNS, managing network communication and module configuration while maintaining proper I/O states during network communication loss .
