FBM203 P0914SV I/O Interface Module

The Foxboro FBM203, part number P0914SV, is an 8-channel Platinum, Nickel, and Copper Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) Input Interface Module for the I/A Series and Foxboro Evo Distributed Control Systems. Each input channel accepts a 2-wire or 3-wire RTD sensor within a 0 to 320 ohm resistance range. The module performs the signal conversion required to interface electrical resistance signals from field RTD sensors to the optionally redundant 2 Mbps Fieldbus . The FBM203 executes an analog input application program providing conversion time (on a per module basis) and configurable options for Rate of Change Limits. Each analog input is galvanically isolated from other channels and ground, withstanding 600 V AC for 1 minute. The module is widely deployed in oil and gas, chemical processing, power generation, and water treatment facilities for precise temperature measurement applications .
