The Bently Nevada 288055-01 is the 3500/22M Standard Transient Data Interface (TDI) Module, a critical component of the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System. It serves as the primary communication gateway and data acquisition interface between the 3500 monitoring system and external machinery management software such as GE's System 1* . The TDI collects both steady-state and transient waveform data from the 3500 rack's monitoring modules (including vibration, position, and temperature monitors) and transmits it via high-speed Ethernet for analysis and diagnostics. Importantly, it operates independently of the critical monitoring path, ensuring that machinery protection functions continue uninterrupted even if the TDI loses communication.
