The Emerson Ovation 5X00106G01 is a high-performance, 8-channel HART analog input module (E-MOD) designed for the Emerson Ovation™ Distributed Control System (DCS). Its core function is to digitize 4–20 mA analog process variables while simultaneously providing dedicated, high-speed HART digital communication for each channel. This enables the control system to continuously read not only the primary process variable but also the secondary diagnostics and configuration data from smart field transmitters without interrupting the control loop.
