KL3172 EtherCAT Terminal

The KL3172 is a two-channel analog input terminal from the Beckhoff Bus Terminal series (KL series) for the traditional K-Bus I/O system, featuring integrated diagnostics. It measures 0–10 V voltage signals from sensors, transmitters, and other field devices, converting them to digital values for the controller, while providing diagnostic feedback on input status. It is used where unipolar voltage signals require monitoring or fault detection. Unlike EtherCAT terminals (EL series), the KL series communicates via the K-Bus and is typically used with Beckhoff Bus Couplers or Bus Terminal Controllers.
