The KL2541 is a single-channel stepper motor terminal from the Beckhoff Bus Terminal series (KL series) for the traditional K-Bus I/O system, designed for higher-current stepper motors. It integrates a compact stepper motor drive directly into the Bus Terminal housing, enabling direct control of a bipolar stepper motor with significantly higher output current than the standard KL2531. It is used for positioning tasks in machine building, handling systems, and equipment requiring larger stepper motors. Unlike EtherCAT terminals (EL series), the KL series communicates via the K-Bus and is typically used with Beckhoff Bus Couplers or Bus Terminal Controllers.
