TMR Safety System

The TRICONEX 3008 is the Main Processor (MP) module for Tricon v9.6 and later Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) safety instrumented systems (SIS). As the central logic solver, it executes safety-critical control logic with three independent, parallel microprocessor channels that vote on results in real time, ensuring continuous fault-tolerant operation without interruption from single-point failures.

The TRICONEX 3009 is the Enhanced Main Processor (UMP) module for Tricon v10/v11 Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) safety instrumented systems (SIS). Powered by a dual-core QorIQ P1021 processor at 800 MHz, it executes safety-critical logic across three independent, synchronized channels with hardware-based 2-out-of-3 voting via the proprietary TriBus.
