The Siemens SQM10.16562 is a robust electromotoric actuator (servomotor) designed for the precise positioning of gas and air dampers on medium to large industrial burners. It is part of the SQM10 series, which is distinguished from the compact SQN series by its heavy-duty die-cast aluminum housing and high-torque gearing, making it suitable for demanding combustion applications in industrial kilns, marine boilers, and large process heaters. The actuator operates on 220–240 V AC and provides a nominal torque of 10 Nm, with a counterclockwise (CCW) rotation direction when facing the drive shaft.
