The Schneider Electric XCSE7311 is a solenoid-locking, key-operated safety interlock switch from the Telemecanique Preventa XCS range. It is designed to monitor movable guards and safety doors on industrial machinery, using a solenoid to lock the guard closed until the machine is in a safe state. The switch features a metal (Zamak) housing, 2 NC + 1 NO main contacts (slow-break, break-before-make), and a 24 V AC/DC solenoid with quiescent current locking (locked when de-energized, unlocked when energized).
