The Allen-Bradley 1747-AENTR is an SLC 500 EtherNet/IP Adapter that enables CompactLogix or ControlLogix processors to control existing SLC 500 I/O modules over an EtherNet/IP network. It is primarily designed as a migration gateway, replacing the SLC processor in a 1746 chassis or the remote adapter (1747-ASB/ACN) in a remote rack, allowing legacy I/O to be integrated into a modern Logix control system.
