The Siemens QAE2174.015 is an active immersion temperature sensor from the Symaro series, designed for measuring water temperature in pipes and tanks within HVAC and building automation systems . It is specifically configured for DC 13.5…35 V supply (DC-only, not AC) and provides a 4…20 mA linear output signal corresponding to a factory-set measuring range of -10…120 °C. The sensor uses a Pt 1000 Class B sensing element per DIN EN 60 751, housed in a 150 mm stainless steel immersion rod with a G ½" process connection . It is a current, active product (PLM status PM300) with a standard factory lead time of approximately 1 day.
