The ProSoft MVI69-GSC is an in-chassis Generic ASCII communication module for Allen-Bradley CompactLogix controllers. It enables the CompactLogix controller to communicate with ASCII-based serial devices (such as barcode scanners, weigh scales, printers, and other serial equipment) using user-defined ASCII protocols, integrating these devices into the Logix control platform via the backplane.
