The ProSoft ILX56-PBM is an in-chassis PROFIBUS DPV1 Master communication module for Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 and S7-1200 controllers. It enables the S7-1500/1200 controller to act as a PROFIBUS DPV1 master, communicating with PROFIBUS DP slave devices (drives, remote I/O, gateways, instruments) and integrating them into the Siemens control platform via the backplane.
