The ProSoft MVI69-MCM is an in-chassis Modbus Master/Slave communication module for Allen-Bradley CompactLogix controllers. It enables the CompactLogix controller to communicate with Modbus RTU/ASCII serial devices as either a master or slave, integrating Modbus-based equipment into the Logix control platform via the backplane. Note that this module provides serial Modbus (RTU/ASCII) connectivity, not Modbus TCP/IP.
