The ProSoft MVI46-PDPMV1 is an in-chassis PROFIBUS DP V1 Master communication module for the Allen-Bradley SLC 500 platform (1746 I/O chassis). It enables SLC controllers to act as a PROFIBUS DP V1 master, communicating with PROFIBUS DP slave devices (drives, remote I/O, gateways, instruments) and integrating them into SLC-based control architectures via the backplane.
