The Schneider Electric XSAV11801 is a Telemecanique OsiSense XS inductive proximity sensor specifically designed for rotation monitoring (also known as speed monitoring or zero-speed detection). It detects the presence of metal targets (such as gear teeth or bolt heads) passing in front of its sensing face and provides a discrete output when the target frequency exceeds a set threshold, making it ideal for detecting belt slip, chain breakage, or shaft stoppage in industrial machinery.
