The Beckhoff EL9508 is a power supply terminal for the EtherCAT system. It takes a 24 V DC input and generates a stabilized 8 V DC output at 0.5 A, which can be tapped directly at the terminal and is also fed to downstream EtherCAT terminals via the power contacts.
