EL5152 EtherCAT Terminal

The EL5152 is a two-channel interface terminal from the Beckhoff EtherCAT Terminal series, designed for direct connection of incremental encoders with integrated position latch (registration) functionality on each channel. It reads the A/B track signals (and zero pulse) from two incremental encoders, maintains position counters, and can latch the position values on external triggers or zero pulses — enabling precise event-based position capture on two axes. It is widely used in multi-axis motion control, registration, and measuring applications.
