EL3255 EtherCAT Terminal

The EL3255 is a 5-channel analog input terminal from the Beckhoff EtherCAT Terminal series, specifically designed for direct connection of potentiometers (three-wire resistive position/angle sensors). It supplies the potentiometer with a stable excitation voltage and measures the resulting voltage divider, converting it to a digital position value. It is commonly used for valve position feedback, actuator stroke sensing, and manual setpoint potentiometers.
