The Bachmann DIO280 is a high-density digital I/O module for the M1 system, offering up to 80 digital channels with 16 configurable as input or output. It features 8 interrupt inputs, up to 4 configurable 32-bit counters, and PWM output mode for energy-saving valve operation.

The B&R Industrial Automation X67MM2436 is a rugged IP67-rated PWM motor and digital I/O module from the B&R X67 System. It controls two DC motors (24 to 38.5 VDC, up to 3 A nominal) and features six digital inputs that can double as high-speed 50 kHz incremental encoder counters.
