BK3520 PROFIBUS Economy plus Bus Coupler

The Beckhoff BK3520 is a PROFIBUS Economy plus Bus Coupler with a fiber-optic interface, designed to connect a fiber-optic PROFIBUS system to Beckhoff's modular Bus Terminal system. Its defining feature is the fiber-optic link, which guarantees electromagnetic interference-free transmission and full electrical isolation, with a maximum transmission rate of 12 Mbaud. It supports PROFIBUS DP V1 services and can connect up to 64 Bus Terminals directly, expandable to 255 via K-bus extension.
