Beckhoff KL6051 original communication interface

The KL6051 is a single-channel serial interface terminal from the Beckhoff Bus Terminal series (KL series) for the traditional K-Bus I/O system, designed for RS422 and RS485 serial communication with higher data rates (up to 1 Mbaud). It provides one configurable serial port directly within the K-Bus I/O system, allowing the controller to communicate with industrial devices such as drives, sensors, meters, and legacy equipment over differential serial links at elevated baud rates. It is a high-speed variant within the KL60xx serial interface family. Unlike EtherCAT terminals (EL series), the KL series communicates via the K-Bus and is typically used with Beckhoff Bus Couplers or Bus Terminal Controllers.
