Beckhoff KL5001 Bus Terminal encoder interface

The KL5001 is a single-channel interface terminal from the Beckhoff Bus Terminal series (KL series) for the traditional K-Bus I/O system, designed for direct connection of SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) encoders. It supplies the encoder with clock and power, reads the serial position data, and delivers the position value to the controller. It is the K-Bus counterpart to the EtherCAT EL5001. Unlike EtherCAT terminals (EL series), the KL series communicates via the K-Bus and is typically used with Beckhoff Bus Couplers or Bus Terminal Controllers.
