Beckhoff KL4021 Bus Terminal analog output

The KL4021 is a single-channel analog output terminal from the Beckhoff Bus Terminal series (KL series) for the traditional K-Bus I/O system. It outputs a 0–20 mA or 4–20 mA current-loop signal with 16-bit resolution, providing finer output steps than the 12-bit KL4011. It is used to control actuators, valves, drives, and other devices that accept an analog current setpoint where higher output resolution is required. It belongs to the KL4xxx high-resolution analog output family. Unlike EtherCAT terminals (EL series), the KL series communicates via the K-Bus and is typically used with Beckhoff Bus Couplers or Bus Terminal Controllers.
