Beckhoff KL2701 Bus Terminal

The KL2701 is a single-channel solid-state relay (SSR) output terminal from the Beckhoff Bus Terminal series (KL series) for the traditional K-Bus I/O system. Unlike electromechanical relay terminals, it uses a semiconductor output stage to switch 230 V AC loads without moving contacts, providing long life, fast switching, and no contact wear. It is used to switch AC lamps, heaters, valves, and other 230 V AC loads in applications requiring high switching frequency or long service life. Unlike EtherCAT terminals (EL series), the KL series communicates via the K-Bus and is typically used with Beckhoff Bus Couplers or Bus Terminal Controllers.
