Beckhoff KL2552 Bus Terminal

The KL2552 is a single-channel DC motor terminal from the Beckhoff Bus Terminal series (KL series) for the traditional K-Bus I/O system. It integrates a compact DC motor drive directly into the Bus Terminal housing, enabling direct control of a brushed DC motor for speed and direction control without a separate external drive. It is used for simple motion tasks in machine building, handling systems, and equipment where a brushed DC motor with basic speed control is sufficient. Unlike EtherCAT terminals (EL series), the KL series communicates via the K-Bus and is typically used with Beckhoff Bus Couplers or Bus Terminal Controllers.
