Beckhoff EL5151 original Analog Output terminal

The EL5151 is a single-channel interface terminal from the Beckhoff EtherCAT Terminal series, designed for direct connection of incremental encoders with integrated position latch (registration) functionality. It reads the A/B track signals (and zero pulse) from an incremental encoder, maintains a position counter, and can latch the position value on an external trigger or zero pulse — enabling precise capture of positions at specific events. It is widely used in motion control, registration, and measuring applications.
