Beckhoff EL5021 original Analog Output terminal

The EL5021 is a single-channel interface terminal from the Beckhoff EtherCAT Terminal series, designed for direct connection of SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) encoders and equipped with incremental encoder simulation output. It reads the absolute position from an SSI encoder and can simultaneously output a simulated incremental encoder signal (A/B tracks, optionally with zero pulse) to a downstream drive or controller. This makes it a versatile interface for integrating absolute SSI encoders into systems that expect incremental feedback.
