The Beckhoff BX8000 is a stand-alone Bus Terminal Controller with an integrated IEC 61131-3 PLC, positioned between the BC series bus terminal controllers and the CX series Embedded PCs. It features RS232/RS485 serial interfaces but has no fieldbus interface of its own.
