The Beckhoff BK5200 is a DeviceNet Bus Coupler that connects the DeviceNet fieldbus system to Beckhoff's modular Bus Terminal system. It allows a station consisting of the coupler, up to 64 Bus Terminals, and an end terminal to function as a DeviceNet node. The coupler is based on the CAN protocol and supports all DeviceNet I/O communication modes: bit strobe, polling, cyclic, and change of state (COS).
