Beckhoff BK1250 original Bus Terminal System

The Beckhoff BK1250 is a compact Bus Coupler in a terminal housing that enables the mixed use of EtherCAT Terminals (ELxxxx) and standard Bus Terminals (KLxxxx) within a single bus station. It acts as a bridge between the fast EtherCAT E-bus and the established K-bus, allowing legacy KL terminals to be integrated into an EtherCAT system without replacing existing I/O hardware. Up to 64 Bus Terminals can be connected directly (expandable to 255 via K-bus extension), and the EtherCAT process image is assigned automatically.
