The Allen-Bradley 1756-TIME is a GPS Time Synchronization Module for the ControlLogix platform, providing a highly accurate time reference for controllers, I/O modules, and networked devices. It receives time from the GPS constellation and distributes it via 1588 PTP (CIP Sync), NTP, or IRIG-B, enabling precise timestamping for Sequence of Events (SOE) recording, event triggering, and system-wide time alignment.
