The ABB 1SDA073685R1 is a Shunt Closing Release (YC) designed for use with ABB SACE Emax 2 air circuit breakers (E1.2 through E6.2) and Tmax XT7M moulded case circuit breakers . Operating at a rated control voltage of 110–120 V AC/DC, this accessory enables remote electrical closing of the circuit breaker, providing automated and remote operation capabilities for power distribution systems . The YC release is the complementary accessory to the YO (Shunt Opening Release). While the YO trips the breaker open, the YC energizes the closing coil to close the breaker contacts upon receipt of an external control signal . Together with the spring-charging motor, these accessories enable full remote operation of the circuit breaker.
