What Does an ABO Normalizing Module Do?
In a SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES system, the drive control board must know the actual motor current and DC link voltage at every operating moment. This information is used to calculate the correct gate signals for the IGBT power modules — the foundation of vector control.
The ABO Normalizing Module is the hardware that performs this critical signal scaling function:
