The KL4418 is an eight-channel analog output terminal from the Beckhoff Bus Terminal series (KL series) for the traditional K-Bus I/O system, featuring integrated diagnostics. It outputs 0–20 mA or 4–20 mA current-loop signals to control actuators, valves, drives, and other devices that accept an analog current setpoint, while providing diagnostic feedback on output status. It belongs to the KL4xxx analog output family and is the 8-channel member of the diagnostic current-loop output family, alongside the KL4414. Unlike EtherCAT terminals (EL series), the KL series communicates via the K-Bus and is typically used with Beckhoff Bus Couplers or Bus Terminal Controllers.
