The KL3012 is a two-channel analog output terminal from the Beckhoff Bus Terminal series (KL series) for the traditional K-Bus I/O system. It outputs 0–20 mA or 4–20 mA current-loop signals to control actuators, valves, drives, and other devices that accept an analog current setpoint. It belongs to the same analog output family as the KL3011. Unlike EtherCAT terminals (EL series), the KL series communicates via the K-Bus and is typically used with Beckhoff Bus Couplers or Bus Terminal Controllers.
