Beckhoff KL2889 8-Channel Digital Output Terminal

The KL2889 is an eight-channel digital output terminal from the Beckhoff Bus Terminal series (KL series) for the traditional K-Bus I/O system, featuring integrated diagnostics and manual operation capability. It is used to switch binary field devices such as relays, contactors, solenoid valves, and indicator lamps, while providing diagnostic feedback on output status and allowing manual override for commissioning and troubleshooting. It belongs to the same diagnostic output family as the KL1889, KL2808, and KL2809. Unlike EtherCAT terminals (EL series), the KL series communicates via the K-Bus and is typically used with Beckhoff Bus Couplers or Bus Terminal Controllers.
