The KL2612 is a two-channel relay output terminal from the Beckhoff Bus Terminal series (KL series) for the traditional K-Bus I/O system. It uses electromechanical relays to switch loads that require galvanic isolation or that operate at voltages beyond the standard 24 V DC range, such as 230 V AC actuators, lamps, contactors, and valves. It belongs to the same relay output family as the KL2602, with a different contact configuration. Unlike EtherCAT terminals (EL series), the KL series communicates via the K-Bus and is typically used with Beckhoff Bus Couplers or Bus Terminal Controllers.
