The KL1312 is a two-channel digital output terminal from the Beckhoff Bus Terminal series (KL series) for the traditional K-Bus I/O system, featuring integrated diagnostics and extended output functions. It is used to switch binary field devices such as relays, contactors, solenoid valves, and indicator lamps, while providing diagnostic feedback and additional functionality beyond standard output terminals. Unlike EtherCAT terminals (EL series), the KL series communicates via the K-Bus and is typically used with Beckhoff Bus Couplers or Bus Terminal Controllers.
