The KL1164 is a four-channel digital input terminal from the Beckhoff Bus Terminal series (KL series) for the traditional K-Bus I/O system. It is used to acquire binary control signals from the field, such as signals from switches, push buttons, limit switches, or proximity sensors. Unlike EtherCAT terminals (EL series), the KL series communicates via the K-Bus and is typically used with Beckhoff Bus Couplers or Bus Terminal Controllers.
